2. Appointment Scheduling

Appointments can be scheduled online, via email, or over the phone. The homeowner must be present at the property to provide access to the dryer and venting system and to confirm that the work was completed to their satisfaction. The homeowner must also agree to any recommended improvements. For safety reasons, please ensure that pets are secured in a safe location to prevent them from getting outside and to protect our technicians.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $75 cancellation fee.

4. Payment Terms

We accept payment via check, credit card, or exact cash value (no change provided). Payment is due at the time of service. If payment at the time of service is not feasible, prior arrangements must be made with us.

5. Service Details

Our dryer vent cleaning service includes:

Digital anemometer reading of cubic feet per minute (cfpm) for exhaust air flow (if accessible and safely obtainable).

Verification that existing venting meets fire and building codes.

Inspection for damaged or worn venting.

Check for moisture retention in the venting system.

Inspection of the louvered vent for proper operation and damage.

Use of a wireless inspection camera to view the inside of the vent if needed.

Verification of proper installation of the dryer vent.

Inspection of the dryer area for potential fire hazards.

Cleaning of the dryer cavity.

Verification of dryer heating functionality.

Evaluation of the exterior vent cover and washing machine hoses.

Recommendations based on our findings are voluntary. We are not liable for issues arising from non-acceptance of recommendations. If the vent is found to be disconnected, inaccessible, damaged beyond repair, or if vent material is not up to code and cannot be cleaned, we will charge a diagnostic service fee of $75 plus tax. Inclement weather may necessitate rescheduling.

6. Access and Preparation

Please ensure a clear path to the dryer with no clothes or objects on top of the dryer. Pets should be secured in a safe location.

7. Late Arrivals and No-Shows

A window of arrival will be provided. If the homeowner is more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment and charge a $75 cancellation fee.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for communicating any issues or problems with the dryer (e.g., unusual noises, long drying times). Before our technician leaves, the homeowner must review all work and changes made to ensure satisfaction and provide payment.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

While regular dryer vent cleaning reduces the risk of fire, it does not guarantee that a fire will not occur. We are not liable for:

Non-acceptance of recommendations.

Failure to clean the lint trap after each load.

Improper maintenance of the dryer and vent system.

Damage caused by crushed transition hoses from moving the dryer.

Screens or non-compliant cages on exterior vents that violate codes.

Work completed without required permit.
